It has been a wild ride at Rally Software. The company has grown leaps and bounds since its inception in 2001. In early 2013 the company went public, raising about $84 million in their IPO. Their stint as a publicly traded company was brief. Just two years after going public, Rally Software was snapped up by CA Technologies, the New York-based tech behemoth, for almost half a billion dollars.
Earlier this week we caught up with some of the faces behind the Rally team and asked them what it was like to work in Lower Downtown. Here’s what they had to say:
What's your favorite happy hour spot near the office? "Terminal Bar in Union Station, great space and people watching." - Chase Doelling, Growth Hacker
How do you get to work? Do you take a car? Bike? Train? "Scooters" - Kevin & Matt, Engineering
What do your favorite part about working in LoDo? "It has everything you need within a short walk, and you can get anywhere with public transit so close" - Leslie Marcotte, PR and Communications
What's your favorite lunch spot near the office? "Mercantile" - Matt Doerfler, Territory Manager
Who makes the best coffee downtown? "Pig Train" - Mike Sanchez, Sales Director
Where do you go when you need to sneak out of the office? - "Walk down the Cherry Creek trail" - Jenif Kochanowski, Agile Coach
This Thursday, as host of Built in Brews, the company will throw open the doors of their downtown offices to the tech community. Located on top of the historic Tattered Cover bookstore in Lower Downtown, their swanky offices show just how far the company has come. Stop by for an opportunity to drink some beer, hang out with the tech community, and meet some of the people behind one of Colorado’s largest and most successful tech startups. Get your tickets before they're sold out! Thanks to CBRE, Mandrill, Technical Integrity, and Pivotal Tracker for sponsoring a great night out!
