Colorado is made pilot region for Obama's TechHire program

Colorado will be one of 21 pilot regions part of the Obama administration’s TechHire initiative, which makes $100 million worth of grants available to help Americans develop tech skills. The Colorado Technology Association (CTA) and SeedPaths, a Denver-based development boot camp that pays developers to learn code, will be two key partners in the program. The initiative aims to close the gap between tech companies which are in need of technically skilled workers and Americans who are interested in the tech industry, but don’t have the skills.
