Please note: this role is located in our Denver, CO office; we work off a hybrid model and come into the office 2 days per week.

Job Description

Are you a sports fanatic who is thrilled by sportsbook products? Do you have experience in the assessment, architecture, and implementation of Service Management in large complex environments? Does automation and process management excite you? 

If so, you are the at the right place! We are looking for someone who will be instrumental in the growth of the organization by taking the responsibility of running the change, release, incident and problem management processes within the technology pillar of our company. We want someone who focus on solutions for automation and think in advanced and creative ways. We want innovators, we want doers! 

As a member of the ITIL Service Management team the position holder will be responsible for:

  • Organizing the Change Advisory Board and make sure that all changes to the production environment meet all requirements (operational, security, qualitative) before they are rolled out as the Change Manager
  • Ensuring continuous delivery, including automated testing and deployment of artifacts as the Release Manager
  • Coordinating all the activities to recover dysfunctional services, as the Incident Manager
  • Conducting root cause analyses, involving all involved parties, in order to ensure sustainable fixing of dysfunctional services, as the Problem Manager 
  • Defining the procedures and coordinate the activities that are necessary to ensure the smooth implementation of changes and the knowledge transfer from test teams to operations teams 
  • Defining the classification and prioritization of incidents and manage the flow of information and escalations among the involved teams to make sure that incidents are resolved in a timely manner 
  • Working on the Continuous Service Improvements for the processes that you are responsible for. This includes the definition of meaningful SLAs and KPIs, automatic reporting to senior management and the gathering of feedback from all stakeholders within the Tipico Group

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree or a related field from four-year college or university
  • A minimum of 4-5 years’ experience in Service Management
  • Excellent skills in process management (understanding and optimization of processes) 
  • Distinct analytical mindset to ensure a sustainable handling of incidents and problems 
  • Solid understanding of ITIL in general and how the various processes are connected to each other 
  • Self-initiative, solution-oriented way of working, agile mindset 
  • Strong communication skills 
  • Affinity to quickly adapt and work with new technologies 
  • Skills in a scripting Language like Python would be a plus 
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Flexible, pro-active mindset with an emphasis on quality 
  • You are innovative-thinking and enjoy working in an agile driven company 
  • You focus on solutions for automation and think in innovative and creative ways

Our Denver office is centrally located in downtown Denver surrounded by some of the best places to hang out in the city. We love the short walk from the train station to the office as well as the close proximity to our favorite places to grab lunch and team drinks after work!
