SendGrid is looking for a social-media savvy, creative and organized Video Producer/Jr. Designer to join our growing creative team. You are responsible for the end-to-end production of various streams of video content including concept, production, post production, and delivery. You will also be responsible for internal/external photography that our marketing department can utilize to strengthen our brand. Additionally you will assist our design team by working on a variety of graphically focused touchpoints. You will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders and customers to create internal and external video content that effectively achieves internal communication and marketing objectives while maintaining proper visual representation of our brand. You live and breathe all things video and design and can think strategically as well as creatively.

What You’ll Do
  • Develop and produce compelling, on brand video content from concept through delivery
  • Collaborate across departments and channels to create videos for a variety of applications – internal, external, social
  • Build a repository of still imagery that can be utilized for marketable material
  • You will be responsible for helping our Sr. Designer with sales collateral, trade show booth designs, and a variety of other graphic elements
  • Work closely with others in the marketing department to schedule and plan production needs
  • Manage and execute an innovative video strategy and calendar across multiple channels and use cases.
  • Think outside the box to create relevant, on trend imagery
  • Enforce and integrate SendGrid style guide criteria into every project
  • Support testing across brands and channels. Strive for continuous improvement
  • Standardize processes to optimize productivity and meet deadlines while maintaining video quality
  • Assess and evaluate current video hardware and software technology available
  • Consult with internal clients in various departments to ensure clear direction and expectation for video deliverables
  • Help manage the logging and archiving of video content
  • Demonstrated expertise of photo/video technology, equipment, music sourcing, industry trends, and competitive marketplace

About You

  • Expertise in multimedia production including video, photography, animation, 2D/3D graphics, post production, online and interactive
  • Interviewing and research skills for video production
  • Must have online portfolio/reel to be considered
  • 3-5 years in a video production environment
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms
  • Strong understanding of Adobe Creative Cloud and Sketch
  • Good understanding of typography, layout, and production design
  • Ability to manage and execute multiple complex projects simultaneously
  • Strong knowledge of digital video techniques and equipment
  • Ability to organize time and meet deadlines, manage workflow and prioritize effectively
