About the Company
Realvolve is a high-growth software startup headquartered in beautiful Denver, CO, The Mile-High City. Winter storms are short-lived and snow melts quickly. To be more specific, our headquarters are located in the Denver Tech Center, a short hop south of Downtown Denver.
Realvolve.com is a Customer Relationship Management Tool (CRM) in the Software-as-a-Service category (SaaS) designed for Real Estate Agents and Brokers around the world.
Our Management Style
This isn't our first rodeo. We execute best-in-class systems and processes in our tech stack, our employee development, and in our management style. We run on daily huddles, weekly team meetings, monthly management meetings, and quarterly and annual strategy sessions. As a high growth company, our short-term strategy can sometimes change in 30 day cycles, but we know who we are and where we're going. We believe in high accountability with high autonomy.
Job brief
We are looking for a talented UX/UI Designer to create amazing look, feel, and user experience. The ideal candidate should have an eye for clean and artful design, possess superior UI skills (and some UX chops) and be able to translate high-level requirements into interaction flows and artifacts, and transform them into beautiful, intuitive, and functional user interfaces.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product management and engineering to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals and experience
- Execute all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to engineering
- Conceptualize original ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex design roadblocks
- Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas
- Present and defend designs and key milestone deliverables to peers and executive level stakeholders
- Conduct user research and evaluate user feedback
- Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices and standards
Requirements
- Proven UI experience
- Demonstrable UI design skills with a strong portfolio
- Solid experience in creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps
- Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, OmniGraffle, or other visual design and wire-framing tools
- Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction
- Ability to present your designs and sell your solutions to various stakeholders.
- Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively
- Up-to-date with the latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies
- BS/MS in Human-Computer Interaction, Interaction Design, or related
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
Technology Details -
Realvolve CRM is a large enterprise SaaS CRM Web App (based on Ruby on Rails web technologies). We want to completely change the UI for our CRM platform (Web app, iOS app, Android app, and our website). Thus, we are looking for a UI designer who is immensely creative and have a knack for beautiful User Interface and User Experience for both Web and Mobile.
Way We Work (Methodology)
We work using Agile methodologies (Scrum and Kanban) which is a de-facto standard these days in Industry for product development. So any knowledge working in Agile way of development will be a huge plus. You can work with team and independently to come up with your inputs and creative beautiful designs. We can also give inputs on the kind of designs we are looking for, by sending you URLs of templates or designs or inspirations.
Schedule
This is a full-time position for our office in the Denver Tech Center. We value creativity and are open to your suggestions about the timelines of various deliverables for our projects. We need great user interface design and thus value quality over quantity.
