Summary
Notion is looking for a highly skilled UI/UX designer who takes pride in his or her deliverables, strives for pixel perfection, and knows how to communicate design decisions confidently to teammates. The UI/UX Design Lead will lead the design charge for our mobile apps, website and brand assets/collateral.
What You’ll Do
Use strong interaction design and usability skills to make the complex clear
Create intuitive, aesthetically pleasing designs for Notion’s app and website
Understand and design with UI/UX best practices
Produce detailed user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and user interface specifications
Lead user experience research and testing processes
Design with an awareness and understanding of device capabilities, browser sizes, and product functionality
Collaborate with software teams to create compelling mobile and web experiences that leverage the latest available technologies and paradigms
Collaborate with business development, marketing and sales to ensure our materials are as well-designed as our apps and website
What You Have
Commitment to product excellence and practical sense of how to get it done
Strong user experience skill set including strategy, information architecture, and design aesthetic
Experience creating highly detailed user flows, wireframes, prototypes and sitemaps
Strong portfolio of both mobile and web applications
Proven track record of UI/UX design across platforms
Ability to thrive in a highly collaborative, fast-paced, agile startup environment
Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite
Proficiency with prototyping tools Omnigraffle or similar
