Training Intern, External Training

We are looking for a talented and energetic person to join the Training & Development team as a Training Intern with the potential for a full time position after the summer. This position is perfect for someone looking for entry-level exposure to all types of training and marketing responsibilities with a fast-growing global technology company. The ideal candidate has exceptional technical writing skills, project management skills, can meet or beat tight deadlines, is a quick study who can take initiative, recommends solutions and works hard in a fast-paced environment.
Making an immediate impact:
- Provide general support to the external training team across all types of client training initiatives, including training collateral, events, email communication, reporting, etc.
- Work with internal subject matter experts to aid in the continued technical accuracy of client training curriculum, videos, infographics, webinars & more.
- Continuously improve and develop client training material using the Adobe suite, video editing software, etc.
- Apply a creative eye to continuously improve and develop our client-facing material
- Assist in the logistical planning of global training events
- Evaluate and track the success of client training programs. Follow-up to ensure training objectives are met and modify trainings as needed on an ongoing basis.
- Work with the team to shape and develop the future of SpotX external training.
Needed SpotX'er talents:
- Bachelor's degree - marketing, advertising, or other business related major preferred
- Ad tech industry experience strongly preferred but not required
- Familiar in Adobe suite (Captivate, InDesign, Illustrator) or demonstrated ability to learn new software packages
- Ability to distill large volumes of technical information into short, easy to understand training materials.
- Strong project management skills – planning, organizing, prioritizing and managing steps to successful completion
- Driven, solution-oriented and has ability to overcome obstacles to drive projects through completion
- Comfortable with and receptive to feedback; quick to apply changes
- Very strong focus on attention to detail and information accuracy
- A self-starter who takes initiative and is action oriented
- Is flexible and can deal effectively with changes in priorities or ambiguity
