The Titles Agent will provide support services to AUTOPAY clients regarding automobile title transactions. Position prepares documents required to add or remove restrictions affecting vehicle titles for consumers, and to satisfy requirements of contracts and agreements covering the purchase of vehicle retail installment contracts from dealerships. DEALER TITLE CLERKS WITH NATIONAL EXPERIENCE ENCOURAGED TO APPLY.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include achieving positive results in the following key areas:
- Prepare lien releases, release titles upon clearance of payoff/settlement funds.
- Prepare titles for liquidation of repossessed vehicles.
- Title corrections and reissues.
- Review and entry of contracts and titles for new portfolio acquisitions.
- Prepares correspondence and other records to transmit leases and titles.
- May work with insurance companies in the event of damage or total loss of vehicles.
- Confers with vehicle owners and lease buyers to explain reasons for, and to obtain testimonial documents needed to, clear title.
- Provide superior internal and external customer service.
- Department mail.
- Any additional tasks or special projects as requested by management.
QUALIFICATIONS:
The successful candidate will have:
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- A minimum of two (2) years of experience in motor vehicles titles and/or banking/finance company environment.
- Must have experience in Microsoft Office, be dependable and detailed-oriented, and have excellent communication skills.
