Our Account Executives will work to challenge the status quo and herd mentality that has settled in over the Discovery services industry. He/she will be hungry, innovative, and at the top of their game from a technology and business development perspective. This person will excel at overcoming the obstacles faced not only in sales but specific to our industry. If you are selected you will sell with confidence and passion as well as the belief that you work for one of the only companies that can change the status quo in the market. This person will eschew succumbing to the typical objections, not maintain a forecast that is stuck in neutral, and not develop excuses for failing to achieve goals. This person will not settle for anything other than exceeding quota and activating compensation accelerators.

Duties

Your job will be to contribute to corporate financial objectives as well as the personality of the company and Catalyst brand. Individuals will be confident that they are taking the leading technology and process for enterprise eDiscovery to the market to challenge the status quo. You will enjoy having an impact, having your voice heard while working with great people. We hope you will be excited about these tasks:

  • Take the Catalyst message of differentiation to market with passion and confidence through presentations and product demonstrations, calls, emails, meetings, networking, industry events, etc.
  • Have experience and are fluent in a full spectrum of disciplines from Information Governance, Email Archiving, Discovery, Technology Assisted Review (TAR) and Cloud Computing. Not from a buzzword compliant perspective but practical understanding.
  • Creating a strategic territory plan, managing your territory like a business, and executing for success.
  • Collaborate with marketing and inside sales to support campaigns, message, and strategic account targeting.
  • Support collaboration with a wide range of exciting technology and service partnerships to deliver comprehensive proposals to prospects.
  • Leverage experience, contacts, and social media to evangelize Catalyst products and services in order to further the brand in the market. Enjoy taking a unique technology message to the market that excites people and breaks the status quo.
  • Educating prospects and target accounts that there are alternatives in the market that deserve their consideration.
  • Capitalize on a comprehensive marketing plan that spares little expense in building the Catalyst brand in the market to generate opportunities for sales.
  • Represent Catalyst at industry events, conferences, and networking events.

Competencies

It will help if you have these:

  • Several years in a senior sales position with a track record in exceeding quota and cashing big commission checks.
  • Experience presenting complex technology, demonstrating software and thinking on your feet when presented with situational questions and scenarios.
  • Understanding of the dynamics of the Discovery Services industry and challenges faced by both corporations and law firms.
  • Experience articulating complex technology, differentiation, and its impact on prospect's process and business.
  • Success in building and selling a category leader.
  • Success in building and executing a strategic sales plan for your assigned region.
  • Track record of collaboration and a team selling approach.
  • Experience of being repeatedly told no and not accepting it.
  • History working with marketing, product management, project managers, consultants to be able to articulate what is different about our offering.
  • Experience collaborating with marketing and inside sales to ensure impactful messaging and account penetration.
  • A proven history of networking to gain account and contact access.
  • Professional-level communications skills at a minimum. The ability to interact with lawyers who are fastidious about knowledge, credibility, and grammar.
  • Stable employment history without a lot of job movement.
  • An unimpeachable record of honesty, integrity, and commitment to seeing sales through to close.
  • References who will back up all these nice things about you.
  • To succeed, you need the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment without a lot of road signs. You should walk in the door with strong presentation and written communication skills and a lot of big ideas.
