Our Talent Programs Manager will play an important role on the People team by actively sourcing exceptional talent for Craftsy and driving results through project-based work. By diving deep into candidate pipelines, the Talent Programs Manager will support sourcing and hiring across several profile based recruiting teams and gain insight into the needs of various teams across the business while bringing on new team members. Through project work, the Talent Programs Manager will contribute to recruiting innovation and long term initiatives that will support Craftsy’s ability to be a company that engages, hires and retains great people. 
 
As our Talent Programs Manager, you will:
  • Develop and deliver talent/recruiting innovation projects 
  • Partner with VP People to track and analyze & present recruiting data and results, draw insights from research, best practices and Craftsy data to inform methods and objectives in recruiting
  • Develop and refine recruiting processes, tools and resources to optimize outcomes--specifically help evolve the recruiting process to a culture of profile based hiring 
  • Create clear messaging and communications both internally and externally for recruiting -- ensure that our web site, social presence and other collateral reflect this
  • Monitor Craftsy’s external reputation on dimensions of hiring, talent acquisition, etc. and conduct benchmarking 
  • Evaluate and recommend tools, resources and systems to support Craftsy’s recruiting objectives -- ensure we have a fresh and impactful approach that evolves with our business, the market and trends in talent
  • Own the sourcing, pipeline development and engagement of all candidates/channels associated with 3 core team recruiting efforts - which may span ~15+ positions and hundreds of candidates
  • Demonstrate the ability to develop and execute sophisticated sourcing techniques and methods 
  • Ensure precise and effective communication is in place with Talent Specialist, hiring manager and other interview participants so that handoffs are conducted efficiently and quickly to maintain momentum in the hiring process and support an open and clear dialogue around updates and next steps
  • Conduct recruiting screens and effectively assess relevant competencies 
  • Conduct internal & external handoffs to Talent Specialist within 24 hours of decision to move to core team or hiring team member screen so that next steps can be initiated efficiently
  • Partner with the Talent Specialist to ensure that the right individuals, interview structures, and schedules are in place 
  • Ensure that ATS, pipelines and other recruiting tools are accurate and as close to real-time up to date as possible so that team members can access timely information and follow up or direct questions accordingly and so that accurate data and information can be pulled
  • Prepare and effectively facilitate core team meetings and debriefs and partner with Talent Specialist to ensure that next steps are taken within target timeframes
  • Increase your recruiting expertise by exploring, identifying and applying new and evolving best in class strategies and tactics
Your background and experience will likely include:
  • Experience managing complex projects from ideation through partnership with internal/external groups through delivery and maintenance
  • Experience tracking metrics, productivity and outcomes and developing tools and resources to enhance processes  &  insights
  • Experience or interest in marketing, brand, communications, or related functions and the ability to apply skills in the People function
  • A track record of performance in demanding, analytical roles at fast growing, dynamic companies paired with a clear trajectory of progression into roles of increasing scope and responsibilities
  • Expertise or an interest in the process, expectations and objectives of recruiting, hiring and onboarding processes
  • Experience working with, presenting to or influencing senior leadership and external clients in addition to peer group and/or internal team
  • Ability to develop and execute strategic sourcing campaigns that yield tangible results
  • Ability to build a comprehensive cultivation approach for high potential candidates - thoughtfully considering their decision criteria and ensuring our process and activities align so that we successfully close 
  • Exceptional organizational skills, with a keen eye for the details and an obsessive commitment for accurate, timely and effective execution of top priority sourcing activities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the drive to take ownership for the development and cultivation of strong internal and external relationships 
  • A bias toward action, sense of urgency and track record of personal accountability 
  • Demonstrated commitment and ability to deliver quality outcomes with a desire to improve and exceed expectations across all aspects of the role (whether tactical - e.g. work deliverables, or big picture - e.g. a willingness to do what it takes to support our collective success)
