Give Your Training and Talent-Management Skills a New Home. At InvitedHome.

Who doesn’t love a vacation? At InvitedHome, we take it one step further. Because we love vacation...homes. In fact, we believe finding the right one to share with your family and friends is essential to the soul. And a rewarding, fulfilling career should be no different. If you have a keen eye for training and assessing talent, an obsession with helping people and organizations reach their full potential, and are looking for an exciting, new opportunity to join a rapidly growing company that will take your career right along with it – well – welcome home.

Who We Are

InvitedHome is the next great hospitality brand, combining the service and consistency of fine hotels with beautiful private homes in amazing destinations. We believe vacations are essential to the soul. We believe every person deserves to be treated like a human being. We believe in always staying ahead of our competition. And we believe a team of people who share those values can become the undisputed leader in luxury vacation rentals by creating priceless vacation memories for anyone, anytime, anywhere.

Who You Are

You have at a degree in a training-related field and have at least five years of experience as a training guru with high-growth and high-performance organizations. When it comes to training and performance management, you’ve done just about everything, at least once. You’ve directed courses yourself and trained other people to lead classes for you. You’ve crafted lessons for managers and designed programs for front-line teammates. You’ve selected the best off-the-shelf products and manufactured tools yourself. Because of this, you understand building a top-performing team isn’t a one-size-fits-all endeavor and instead requires many different strategies and tactics. Fortunately, your training expertise is akin to Picasso’s prowess with paints or Beethoven’s insight with instruments, so you instinctively know how to combine various tools, methods, and curriculums to create a work of art that can satisfy any training requirement.

The bottom line is that you’re an amazing communicator, a no-nonsense evaluator, and an expert at training and developing high-performance teams.

How You Can Help

You’ll be the mastermind behind InvitedHome’s talent-development strategy, overseeing its implementation, assessing its success, and making any necessary adjustments along the way. And we’re talking full-cycle talent development, so you’ll help new-hires and old-hats alike learn new technologies and soft skills through in-house and external training, coaching, and mentoring. You’ll achieve this by developing local and company-wide training and performance-management plans, employing traditional talent-development strategies and resources, as well as developing new and creative training ideas. You’ll ensure the success of our teammates by identifying performance-management needs and crafting talent-development initiatives that help our “A Players” succeed over long and illustrious careers with InvitedHome. And the best way to make this all happen is to visit our teams where they work, so you’ll be on the road regularly (33-50 percent of the time), but visiting places like Maui, Lake Tahoe, and Vail isn’t a terrible perk now is it?

How Else?

Your day-to-day tasks will include:

  • Leading the creation and implementation of training and talent-development plans by studying InvitedHome’s goals and objectives; meeting with managers to discuss needs; and monitoring employee morale, engagement, and performance.
  • Overseeing the onboarding and orientation of new employees in order to help them become fully integrated into their jobs and InvitedHome’s culture so they can hit the ground running.
  • Providing opportunities for the ongoing development of current teammates' technical and behavioral abilities by developing plans for evaluation, training, coaching, mentoring, and succession.
  • Developing a comprehensive training and talent-development program which includes recommended-reading lists, online resources, classroom instruction, demonstrations, on-the-job training, meetings, conferences, and workshops.
  • Monitoring and applying talent-development best practices (particularly in the hospitality industry) and updating job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, and engaging with professional organizations.
  • Improving InvitedHome's status as a "best place to work" by enhancing our teammates’ skills, performance, productivity, and quality of work.
  • Maintaining and monitoring analytics and metrics to ensure InvitedHome is constantly improving its talent-development programs.
  • Finding or building the best tools and methods for a wide range of training needs.
  • Managing budgets for talent-development programs.
