Give Your Talent-Acquisition Skills a New Home. At InvitedHome.

Who doesn’t love a vacation? At InvitedHome, we take it one step further. Because we love vacation...homes. In fact, we believe finding the right one to share with your family and friends is essential to the soul. And a rewarding, fulfilling career should be no different. If you have a keen eye for assessing talent, an obsession with helping people and organizations reach their full potential, a knack for building and maintaining strong relationships, and are looking for an exciting, new opportunity to join a rapidly growing company that will take your career right along with it – well – welcome home.

Who We Are

InvitedHome is the next great hospitality brand, combining the service and consistency of fine hotels with beautiful private homes in amazing destinations. We believe vacations are essential to the soul. We believe every person deserves to be treated like a human being. We believe in always staying ahead of our competition. And we believe a team of people who share those values can become the undisputed leader in luxury vacation rentals by putting the joy back into homeownership and creating priceless vacation memories for anyone, anytime, anywhere.

Who You Are

You have at least three years of experience as a recruiting or staffing guru with high-growth organizations, and either a professed love for or experience with talent-management. You also have an educational background that’ll make our mouths water (i.e. a business degree at the undergrad or graduate level and a certification from a professional HR or Staffing organization). Maybe you’re an external recruiter who wants to target your talents to help push one amazing company to the promised land (while joining in its success). Or perhaps you’re a training manager with some recruiting chops who’s craving a bigger-picture focus. Either way, you’re an amazing communicator, a no-nonsense evaluator, and an expert at building high-performance teams. And the thought of overseeing a real full-cycle staffing program (recruiting, hiring, onboarding, evaluating, training, coaching, etc.) makes your toes tingle with excitement.

How You Can Help

Your goal will be to ensure InvitedHome’s staffing requirements are always satisfied and our teammates are constantly working in a friendly, supportive, and high-performance environment. Ultimately, you’ll be the mastermind behind recruiting, evaluation, and training programs that will guarantee we attract, hire, and retain only the best-of-the-best (i.e. people whose talents and values are aligned with InvitedHome’s business goals and culture). You’ll achieve this by developing local and national recruiting plans, employing traditional sourcing strategies and resources, as well as developing new and creative recruiting ideas. But stuffing our staff with new MVPs is only part of the plan, so you’ll also need to care for our current teammates by identifying training and developmental needs, and crafting talent-management initiatives that help our “A Players” create long-term career plans with InvitedHome. And the only way you can make any of this happen is to visit our teams where they work, so you’ll be on the road at least 50-percent of the time (but visiting places like Maui, Lake Tahoe, and Vail isn’t a terrible perk now is it?).

How else?

Your day-to-day tasks will include:

  • Leading the creation and implementation of staffing plans - including recruiting and talent management - for our field-based positions by studying InvitedHome’s goals and objectives; meeting with managers to discuss needs; and monitoring employee morale, engagement, and performance.
  • Performing job and task analysis to identify and uphold job requirements and objectives in job scorecards, job descriptions, performance-management programs, and training plans.
  • Building active and passive candidate recruitment sources by establishing and maintaining relationships with community services, colleges, employment agencies, recruiters, media, and internet sites; and promoting InvitedHome information, opportunities, and benefits.
  • Determining applicant qualifications (experience, competencies, and values) by reviewing resumes, performing interviews, analyzing responses, verifying references, and running background checks, and comparing those qualifications to job requirements.
  • Arranging management interviews by coordinating schedules; arranging travel, lodging, and meals; escorting applicants to interviews; and arranging community tours.
  • Improving and promoting InvitedHome's status as the "best place to work" in Colorado and the travel/hospitality industry by monitoring compensation and benefits practices; assessing morale and engagement; and recommending new policies and practices.
  • Avoiding legal challenges by understanding current legislation, enforcing regulations with managers, recommending new procedures and conducting training.
  • Monitoring and applying hospitality recruiting and talent-management best practices, staying current on federal and state employment practices, and updating job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations.
  • Maintaining and monitoring analytics and metrics to ensure InvitedHome is constantly improving its recruiting and talent-management programs.
  • Handling administrative duties such as: writing job descriptions, creating offer letters, completing new-hire paperwork, monitoring active participation in performance management programs, performing exit interviews, etc.
