SUMMARY

The Systems Administrator is responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting computer and phone systems for operations/contact center on a daily basis.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include achieving positive results in the following key areas:

  • Understand and demonstrate the principles of AUTOPAY’s Mission, Vision and Values.
  • Phone system administration and maintenance.
    • Provide routine administration and maintenance to cloud based PBX phone system.
    • Provide routine administration and maintenance to cloud based CRM system.
    • Create and maintain scripting for IVR system.
  • User administration and support
    • Perform user administration in Active Directory.
    • Assist users with resetting passwords and unlocking users.
    • Perform new hire and termination process.  This includes
      network user administration and phone configuration.
    • Assist with training employees on new computer systems.
    • Manage access to network folders and files.
  • Network Support
    • Maintain and administer computer networks and related computing environments, including computer hardware, systems software, applications software, and all configurations.
    • Maintain an inventory of parts for repairs.
    • Analyze equipment performance records in order to determine the need for repair or replacement.
    • Administer system monitoring platform. Acknowledge alerts and respond to issues as required.
    • Maintain server room and assist with hardware or cabling changes. 
      This includes port changes on switches and network hubs.
    • Assist network administration vendor as required.
  • Workstation Support
    • Perform new hire and termination process.  This includes hardware configuration.
    • Ensure that all workstations have required hardware. This includes PC, monitors, keyboards, mouse, and any additional specialized equipment.
    • Provide required maintenance to all computers in operations.
    • Assist all employees with computer troubleshooting hardware, software and network issues.
    • Maintain an inventory of parts for repairs.
    • Diagnose hardware and software problems, and replace defective components.

QUALIFICATIONS:

The successful candidate will have:

  • Associate’s degree in information technology, or equivalent experience required. Bachelor’s degree or CompTia A+ or Network + certification preferred.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience maintaining and troubleshooting PBX phone systems, troubleshooting Helpdesk PC and MAC and active directory in Microsoft Exchange required. Call Center experience and working with Linux servers preferred.
  • Must have experience in Microsoft Office, be dependable and detailed-oriented, and have excellent organizational and communication skills.
