HI, I’m Brady! I’m the Senior Manager on our growing Supply Chain team at Craftsy.
Supply Chain excellence is a key area of focus for us as we expand our eCommerce business. We operate our own fulfillment center out of Indianapolis, IN, manage a high volume of inbound and outbound orders both domestically and internationally, and are dedicated to providing a best-in-class experience for our passionate, creative customers.
As the new Supply Chain Coordinator, you will be a key contributor in building this reputation for excellence through innovative strategy development and flawless operational execution across inbound and outbound logistics, warehouse management, and customer experience.
On any given day, you can find the Supply Chain Coordinator:
- Seamlessly coordinating inbound purchase order deliveries to ensure timely and accurate receipt volume forecasts
- Expertly coordinating and managing on-time and accurate inbound receipts
- Facilitating key administrative interactions, including purchase order receipt and discrepancy reconciliation, with our suppliers, warehouse, and internal team
- Tracking and analyzing inbound and outbound KPIs and proactively changing your tactics to positively impact them
- Identifying and acting on areas for operational improvement and supply chain cost reduction
- Managing the vendor compliance process, including circulation and enforcement of compliance guidelines, communication of critical changes to guidelines and issuance of chargebacks
- Managing kitting requests across all eCommerce product categories (Fabric, Yarn, Cake Decorating Supplies)
Here's what we're looking for in top candidates:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or similar course of study
- 1+ year of work experience in eCommerce or Supply Chain Management
- International shipping or import experience highly preferred
- Ability to work autonomously, taking initial direction and effectively executing against multiple simultaneous activities to achieve desired outcomes
- Demonstrated success in a process and detail oriented environment where there was an emphasis on action, accuracy and results
- Proven analytical skills and enthusiasm for data-driven decision making
- Proficiency managing large amounts of data in Microsoft Excel (specifically, vlookups and pivot tables)
- Strong planning, judgment and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to work with individuals at all organizational levels as well as external partners
- Fluency with financial measurements (sales, gross margin, measures of inventory productivity) and how to impact them
- Familiarity with logistics and warehouse distribution preferred
