RESPONSIBILITIES:

-Supply Chain Management: identify, develop, and manage Sphero’s Supply Chain. Help establish our global supply chain strategy, identifying those growth vendors that can best meet Sphero’s requirements of cost, quality, and technology, and identifying those vendors that should be phased-out.

-Cost Management: achieve most efficient costs for electrical/mechanical enclosure parts and equipment while helping enable Sphero’s unique design requirements

-Cross-functional Support / Leadership: support cross-functional teams during development and ramp. Demonstrate strong situational leadership of suppliers teams.

-Manage Availability: ensure availability of parts to support production demand

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Analytical or quantitative degree (business, supply-chain and/or operations management, information technology, engineering or computer science preferred).
• 5 yrs experience in Supply Base Management.
• Demonstrated management experience in multiple indirect commodities.
• Experience with Contractual Terms and Conditions.
• Project management experience.
• Must have experience with MS Excel and PowerPoint for purposes of data analysis and creation of presentations.
• Should be familiar with electronic components or possess a general electronics background.
• Desire and ability to work independently, initiating and executing your own projects without direct supervision.
