POSITION SUMMARY:

As a Strategic Partnership Associate, you will be responsible for supporting Velocity Global’s key partner sales initiatives and company growth goals through managing current partner accounts and supporting our Strategic Partnership Manager while gathering a deep understanding of our business operations. This position will require a high level of subject matter expertise and business development within the partnership space in addition to high level conversations and thought processes. This role calls for someone who is truly ‘high velocity’ where wearing multiple hats is key to success, and is well-suited for the particularly ambitious and relationship-centered individual. At its core, this position is focused on partnership development and support and will report to the Strategic Partnership Manager. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Become an expert on our service and convey passion and ownership 

• Accept primary accountability for ensuring that assigned partnership accounts are being properly serviced

• Source and qualify new partnership opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound phone and email communication

• Track partnership movement and manage any needs requests and inquiries 

• Maintain and expand a database/pipeline of interested prospects and future partnership opportunities

• Work with marketing and leverage CRM tools to prospect and perform detailed notes and data entry 

• Clearly articulate Velocity Global’s value proposition and service portfolio 

• Consistently follow up with partners to ensure their satisfaction with delivery, quality of execution and overall service experience

• Report and track on strategic partnership metrics and data, ensuring accurate and detailed data that can be used to review and track past and future performance 

• Research partner prospects, identify key decision makers and conduct calls to generate further interest in Velocity Global

QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

• Minimum Bachelor's degree or equivalent

• 2-4 years of relevant experience within a sales setting 

• Track record of over-achieving your goals, exhibiting proactive behavior and demonstrating a constant commitment to success

• Have a persistent, confident attitude and a willingness to take intelligent risks

• Are an action-oriented and sales-minded individual

• Are naturally curious and possess the ability to identify new opportunities independently 

• Ability to communicate consistently at a high level  

• Excellent organizational and analytical skills necessary to review sales and financial data

• Ability to handle multiple tasks with varying time constraints

• Ability to develop and maintain relationships

• Knowledge of strategic research and reporting techniques 

• Interest in international business and contributing at a consistently high level

• Ability to assimilate information quickly. We do business across 180+ countries so there is a lot to learn!
