Job Description

We are seeking an energetic, self-motivated staff accountant to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be experienced in many facets of financial and operational accounting.

Primary responsibilities include:

· Daily bank reconciliations

· Preparing schedules and journal entries for month-end close. In addition, preparing schedules for outside auditors and tax preparers.

· Execute A/P processes, including approval follow-up, coding and entry, and payment processing

· Record and reconcile multiple company credit cards

· Managing A/R process for intermittent revenue transactions.

· Oversee the preparation of use tax returns, personal property returns, etc.

· Other projects as needed

Desired Skills and Experience

· Strong accounting knowledge

· Drive to investigate and address exceptions

· Ability to work independently and self-manage

· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

· Must be self-motivated, organized and detail-oriented

· Knowledge of accrual-basis accounting work

· Experience preparing audit schedules

Qualifications

· Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field preferred

· 3+ years accounting and/or bookkeeping experience

· Quickbooks experience
