SendGrid is looking for a Sr. Technical Recruiter to help execute an uber-aggressive yet selective multi-year hiring plan.

What You’ll Do
  • Live by and champion our cultural values of Happy, Hungry, Honest, and Humble
  • Build pipelines of top talent through research and sourcing
  • Be an integrative, highly collaborative recruiting SME to guide and support our hiring managers and interview teams
  • Partner effectively with recruiting team peers and cross-functional stakeholders
  • Obsess about candidate experience; identify and engage qualified candidates, providing consistent communication throughout the process
  • Qualify candidates for experience, skills, and cultural fit (culture is our code)
  • Drive the full recruitment lifecycle for all the jobs in your purview
  • Facilitate candidate debriefing sessions and contribute as an important and integral member of the interview team
  • Support ad hoc projects as needed and be willing to do whatever it takes at a moment’s notice to capitalize on an opportunity
  • Represent SendGrid with integrity and professionalism (and fun!) in the local tech and recruiting communities, including attending relevant user groups and meetups

About You
  • Persuasive, Accountable, Self Motivated, Focused and Collaborative
  • Ideally 6-9 years of experience with full lifecycle recruiting, including extensive sourcing of passive candidates
  • Experience recruiting for a SaaS company, with a thorough understanding of software development technologies, roles and processes
  • A strategic thinker that understands business objectives
  • Highly detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task and manage multiple deadlines
  • Specialized expertise recruiting for senior-level Software, Architecture, Quality, DevOps and Engineering Leadership roles
  • May have a combination of corporate recruiting and staffing agency experience
  • Recruiting breadth; experience in multiple geographies, recruiting all levels and skills
  • Proven ability to work in an extremely high-volume, demanding, fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
  • Experience using a multitude of recruiting and sourcing technologies
  • Excellent negotiation, analytical and presentation skills
  • Maybe you have a college degree, maybe you don’t - what matters to us is that you’re smart and get things done
