This is an excellent opportunity for a proven sales manager looking for a leadership position in an exciting growth company. This position reports to the Vice President of Sales. The desired candidate is most likely a sales manager with a Social Media technology or SaaS company.

This position is responsible for the management and growth of a team of sales representatives. The primary objective is implementing tactics and strategies to achieve our revenue goals.

You should be passionate about social media and have an ability to create innovative solutions and ideas for clients. You must be self-motivated with a drive to win and an ability to juggle multiple responsibilities at once.  You also have to be able to work in a start-up environment.  You should be the type of person that brings ideas on how to solve problems in a proactive, innovative way.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement sales methodology to meet or exceed sales revenue targets
  • Train, motivate, and influence the current sales team, as well as recruit new sales representatives as needed
  • Develop short and long-term sales plans that are consistent with corporate objectives
  • Have a thorough understanding of sales forecasting methodologies and establishing accurate sales forecasts
  • Organize and assign sales territories
  • Ensure leads are worked as they funnel through the pipeline. Develop and establish strategic account partnerships and assign accounts as appropriate
  • Become an expert on all Wayin solutions, keeping pace with market movements
  • Use Salesforce to record progress with accounts and stay organized
  • Participate in industry-related events to further develop the opportunities to procure new business
  • Generate leads from your rolodex and resources with brands that could be interested in Wayin’s solutions
  • Provide ideas to help continuously improve our solutions and keep the company informed about customer feedback and data gathered in the field

Requirements:

  • At least fifteen (15) years of overall sales experience, of which at least 10 years are in a sales management position
  • Primary experience in SaaS technology; Social Media technology sales experience is a strong plus
  • Will have progressed through positions of increasing responsibility to a sales management position within a high-growth company
  • Proven track history in sales management (and solution selling) that shows the ability to motivate others to achieve established goals/targets
  • Experience with sophisticated management and operational systems while still being able to operate effectively without extensive staff support and manage to objectives
  • Excellent presentation, communication and organizational skills
  • Demonstrable knowledge of social media players, trends, and platforms
  • Must be able to supply metrics around sales/revenue goals
  • Experience working with complex and customizable enterprise solutions
