SendGrid is seeking a Sr. Revenue Operations Analyst. In this critical role, you will be responsible for supporting the implementation of Revenue Operations processes, policies and procedures. This will consist mainly of working closely with the Director of Revenue Operations and the RevOps team to assist with strategic projects, business analysis, process improvement and data quality projects.

What You’ll Do

  • Live by and champion our cultural values of Happy, Hungry, Honest, and Humble
  • Own monthly and quarterly sales metrics packages, insights and analytics reporting
  • Own executive briefing documents and presentations to communicate sales performance
  • Investigate and summarize insights that help leadership make informed business decisions
  • Own data quality projects, which includes maintaining clean sales pipeline reports
  • Assess performance and effectiveness by analyzing and summarizing sales productivity
  • Support opportunity processes, including quotes/orders and Statements of Work for services
  • Manage projects that are data intensive and require comfort with numbers to make decisions
  • Use intuition and experience to evaluate and resolve data and operational issues on the fly
  • Collaborate with our SalesForce administrators for sales process and data improvements
  • Collaborate with Finance on reporting processes, data integrity and bookings forecasting
  • Manage Sales and Customer Success dashboards, reports and metrics packages
  • Recommend improvements to sales and services processes and policies

About You

  • Completed a degree an undergraduate or graduate program, with preference to Business, Marketing, Finance or an MBA program
  • 5-8 years in demand generation, sales, account management or business operations
  • Above average skills with the Microsoft Office suite (especially Excel) are required
  • Excellent professional communication skills both verbal and written are required
  • SalesForce or similar CRM or demand generation tools experience is required
  • Strong technical understanding of Internet / cloud software industry
  • Technical aptitude using SQL to query data and build reports and dashboards preferred
  • Initiative: Take independent action to proactively identify roadblocks to solve problems, and to learn new ways of completing tasks more effectively
  • Attention to Detail: Use documentation to check work and validate data prior to submission and have a keen eye to detail regarding the nature of the project and information submitted
  • Flexibility: Manage multiple project simultaneously and adjust priorities quickly when expectations change
  • Problem Solving: Research key information to validate data and processes and make decisions or proactively propose solutions to problems based on the findings
  • Time Management: Manage priorities for all projects to ensure timely, yet thorough completion and adjust time allocations to accommodate for shifting priorities
  • Analytical Ability: Use analytical reasoning skills to logically and appropriately apply data to validate business problems
  • Interest in Learning: Ability to quickly absorb new processes and tasks and to synthesize and relate new information learned to other known information
  • Service & Rapport: Establish and maintain relationships with key management stakeholders, and collaborate with fellow Revenue team members to build trust and provide excellent support
  • Project Management: Develop and lead projects and requests from inception to successful conclusion and effectively inform stakeholders of status updates and progress on key projects
  • Confidentiality: Understands the nature of confidential information and does not share information with others who should not be privy to the information.
