HomeAdvisor is currently seeking a Senior Java Developer with demonstrably strong Java development experience to join our hard-charging development team. Every application you work on will directly impact how our Sales and Operations teams manage and interact with customers and service professionals. In our Agile SCRUM environment, you’ll deliver some of our most innovative and cutting-edge technology solutions to date including Spring microservices, REST web services, Kafka messaging architecture, and ElasticSearch indices.
We'll be looking for you to demonstrate your skills in these areas:
- 5-10+ years Java development and experience driving Java web application architectural conversations.
- Understand abstract problems and provide innovative solutions
- Work within a Servlet Container
- Work with Oracle RDBMS
- Bonus points for Spring MVC, JMS, MBeans, Restful architecture, distributed caching, Git, Agile development, CSS, AJAX, JavaScript, Scala, and Python
