Sr. Java Developer
REQUIREMENTS
- 7+ years minimum development experience building web-based and database-driven applications using Java 1.6+
- Solid understanding of web application architecture, object oriented software, and design patterns
- Experience with open source Java frameworks such as Spring, Hibernate, and common API’s such as JPA, JDBC, Apache Commons
- Strong familiarity with XML structured data and processing XML files using common Java parsers
- Understanding of Web Services: Axis2/Soap, REST and related frameworks
- Relational database experience using MySql, Oracle, or equivalent, including schema design and entity-relationship mapping
- Work experience developing on Linux/Unix and Win environment
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience
DESIRABLE SKILLS:
- Experience with eCommerce (credit card processing, tax, shipping).
- Experience with ERP integrations.
- Experience with multi-threaded java application development and the concurrency package API’s.
- Familiarity with Apache POI java framework.
- Familiarity with Quartz java framework.
- Understanding of SVG files and other vector based image formats.
- Solr search engine design and implementation.
- J2EE integration via UI framework such as EXTJS, Angular.
- Document storage and retrieval.
- Agile/SCRUM methodologies.
- Experience in Software as a Service (SaaS) environment
