• This position requires 2-4 years of experience in on-orbit real-time spacecraft operations or equivalent education in Engineering, Math, or Physics.
• Strong computer skills including UNIX, programming, and scripting highly desired.
• U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency is required; candidate must have active security clearance.
• This position is assigned to a specific crew and rotational shift, but may temporarily support other crews on an as-needed basis. Flexibility is required.

Skills and Experience

• Familiarity with satellites and planning systems.
• System level knowledge to include:
• Strong computer skills including UNIX, programming, and scripting is highly desired
• Good communication, interpersonal and motivational abilities
• Maintains composure under stressful situations
• Able to contribute technically and interpersonally on small and closely integrated team

Education

• A Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, physics, or math is highly desired. Relevant experience will be considered in place of education.
