Summary/Objective:

The Software Quality Assurance Analyst is responsible for testing our web applications as part of the Engineering team.  This position will work with developers, testers, product managers, and other leaders in the company to help ship quality software.  We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented and has a passion for manual testing and creating software that delivers an exceptional customer experience.

Essential Functions:

• Write and execute manual test cases for functional and feature testing
• Operate as part of a fast-paced agile development team
• Run regression tests as needed
• Acceptance of features after testing
• Run manual tests on different browsers/operating systems
• Write and track defects through defect lifecycle
• Working with development and product management to resolve issues and clarify requirements

Competency:

• Good eye for finding defects
• Very detail-oriented
• Understanding of different browser behavior
• Passion for manual testing and shipping quality software
• Understanding of QA best practices and development lifecycle

Required Education & Experience:

• 3+ years software testing experience for web applications
• Experience with defect tracking software (for example, Jira)
• Experience writing and tracking test cases

Additional Eligibility Qualification:

• Mobile application testing experience
• Leadership experience a plus but not required.
