Job Responsibilities

As a member of the engineering team you will be responsible for maintaining and expanding the existing product.  This could mean that one day you're adding a column to a database table and the next day you're fixing a JavaScript function for the UI.  Other times you may be knee deep in the Java/JEE based service oriented architecture of the product.  You’ll wear many different hats and will have opportunities to be a key player in the further development of our product capabilities.

 Required Qualifications

• 0-3 years of professional Java development in a commercial environment
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Comfortable in a startup environment
• Understand database concepts
• Understand web based/SOA architecture
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• Cross platform development experience

Desired Skills

• JEE (specifically servlets, JMS, JPA)
• JavaScript – great if you've used ExtJS, YUI or any object oriented JavaScript library
• Relational to object mapping technologies – Hibernate/EclipseLink/JPA
• HTML/CSS
• Linux admin
