Primary Responsibilities:

• Design and develop new user-facing features  
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
• Create widgets, surface data, heathgrades.com profile updates and some ongoing maintenance           

Required Experience:

• HTML
• CSS
• JavaScript
• Web Design and development
• REST

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

• Front-end frameworks such as Angular, React, Ember, or Backbone
• Frontend tools for building, bundling, and loading JavaScript, such tools as Gulp, Grunt, Webpack, Babel, Browserify or others
• ES6 (ES2015)
• Understanding of JavaScript best practices and design patterns
• Ability to communicate effectively with business and technical staff, and able to work independently
• Strong desire to learn and grow
• Have opinions on what constitutes “good code” and “bad code”
• Excellent problem solving capabilities 

Years of experience with a specific technology is not overly important. What matters is your passion, ability to understand and harness technology using best practices, and experience of creating new solutions and solving difficult problems.
