Software Engineer

Summary

QSC seeks an innovative, passionate and self-motivated Software
Engineer to work with a very experienced team of software engineers and product
management to develop cutting-edge digital audio products.  This position is based in Boulder, Colorado.
We are looking for an expert in C++ who has had varied experience applying this
language. You will get to work on projects that bring into existence some of
the most advanced professional audio products anywhere.

Description

REQUIREMENTS 

• Minimum of 3 years of hands on
  coding experience with large C++ code bases


• Experience with TCP/IP, UDP/IP,
  HTTP control APIs


• Excellent SW design, engineering,
  implementation, coding, and build & release skills


• Multi-threading


• Experience developing software in
  Linux OS


• Passionate, persistent, creative
  - you find solutions to difficult problems and clever ways to work around
  them when necessary


• Excellent problem-solving, verbal
  and written communication, design, development, and debugging skills


• Ability to work independently and
  in groups to effectively participate in the software development life
  cycle


• Experience with control of
  commercial AV products preferred


• Familiarity with professional
  audio products and systems preferred


• A passion for audio in your spare
  time is a big plus

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Envision, design, and develop
  world-class software in the pro audio industry


• Apply good software design and
  development practices in daily activities


• Work with Software Quality
  Assurance to develop appropriate test strategies

Education:

• B.S. in Computer Science,
  Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field
