In order to continuously innovate and deliver our world-class SaaS platform we seek to add a Manager of Software Development to our team.  We need someone who can manage one or more Agile development teams, act as the Product Owner and ScrumMaster when needed, and drive projects from inception through completion and rollout.

Responsibilities and challenges you can expect in this role: 

• Model and champion Lean and Agile principles.
• Mentor Engineers on best practices and career development.
• Perform the agile “product owner” role as needed for your team(s).
• Perform the agile “scrummaster” role as needed for your team(s).
• Contribute to and facilitate the delivery planning process
• Lead the team to execute on projects, delivering supportable estimates, risks, and delivery tracking.
• Ensure team and individual alignment with company core values, principles, policies, and standards.
• Provide your team with guidance on roadmap, company direction and customer needs.
• Track and improve "Key Process Indicators". 
• Actively participate in a fluid and collaborative environment with the ability to influence and change the direction of the product.
• Coordinate deliverables across development teams.
• Recruit Software Engineers that align with the company and department culture and needs.

The skills and experience you must have: 

• 6+ years of experience developing commercial software applications
• 1+ years of experience managing and leading software development teams
• Strong technical experience with web technologies
• Strong leadership skills
• Strong grasp of Agile principles and software best practices
• Ability to influence and drive the direction of the product
• Agility and comfort with changing requirements and frequent customer feedback
