We're currently searching for a talented ServiceNow Administrator/Developer to join our Enterprise Applications team in the heart of downtown Denver, CO.
The ServiceNow Administrator/Developer is responsible for managing all aspects of the ServiceNow platform for Vertafore. They will perform analysis of problems while working toward solutions to technical issues; deploy new releases and/or enhancements; maintain and support the platform’s operational functions; and perform system testing.
ServiceNow Administrator/Developer position responsibilities include:
- Perform day to day support and maintenance of the ServiceNow platform, work with the Enterprise Applications team to develop solutions in ServiceNow and coordinate support and development efforts
- Monitor health, usage and overall compliance of the ServiceNow platform
- Advise teams on design, development and overall ServiceNow best practices
- Create and configure Business Rules, UI Policies, UI Actions, Client Scripts and ACLs including advanced scripting of each
- Create and configure Notifications, UI pages, UI Macros, Script Includes, Formatters, etc. in ServiceNow
- Develop ServiceNow software solutions using JavaScript and MYSQL
- Provide requested enhancements to existing ServiceNow applications
- Work with functional and administrator teams to deliver automated workflow solutions in ServiceNow
- Facilitate and support the roll-out of new application and enhancements in ServiceNow
Skills & Requirements
ServiceNow Administrator/Developer Skills and Requirements:
- 2-3+ years of experience performing ServiceNow System Administration, as a ServiceNow System Administrator or similar responsibility
- Strong working knowledge of ServiceNow components such as Service Catalog, Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, Asset Management, Release Management, CMDB, Knowledge, etc.
- Prior experience participating in the full software development life cycle: Analysis, Design, Coding, Testing and promotion into Production
- Excellent knowledge of ServiceNow Best Practices and ongoing knowledge of latest ServiceNow features
- Knowledge of Web 2.0 Technologies (Java Scripting, XML, HTML, AJAX, Jelly, CSS, PERL scripting, etc.)
- Experience developing and configuring ServiceNow modules: Discovery, Orchestration, ServiceWatch, PPM, CMDB, etc. a plus
- Strong analytical capabilities coupled with business acumen needed to proactively solve problems facing the organization
