We are looking for a full-time SEO Editor to join our growing team! The Cheat Sheet is known for its comprehensive analysis of premium lifestyle coverage, and you could be part of our team dedicated to promoting this content!


As our SEO Editor you will:

  • Report directly to our Director of Organic Search, handling daily on-page optimization across our diverse verticals.

  • Develop and manage our evergreen content maintenance schedule and create new content strategies.

  • Work directly with our Editorial Leadership team to maintain consistent weekly organic refurb assignments.

  • Provide analytical insights to the Editorial and Traffic Acquisition teams.

  • Develop and maintain SEO Training guidelines for the Editorial team.

What you will need to be successful in this role:

  • 2-4 years experience working in a competitive SEO space.

  • Full understanding of current and best on-page SEO practices.

  • Excellent understanding of quality internal link structures.

  • Experience working with various analytical tools: SEMrush, Ahrefs & Google Analytics.  

  • Strong understanding of HTML.

  • Outstanding spreadsheet skills to manage thousands of posts, sitewide.

  • Experience with Wordpress, link building, high-level website audits and Google Analytics Certified are preferred, but not required.

  • Excellent organizational, project management and communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently in a virtual environment.
