We are looking for a Senior UX Designer to join our development team. You’ll be joining our talented and growing team of engineers, quality assurance, product, and design to help with building new applications and improving interfaces in our product suite. Commercial real estate has a wide variety of design patterns, several different types of users, and complex information. We need someone who is interested in helping us tackle these problems and design simple, intuitive interfaces for our applications.

What you’ll be responsible for:
As a Senior UX Designer at Apto, you’ll be working with the team to define the goals for our interfaces and the processes for building new applications and improving existing UIs. We expect it’ll take a variety of the following tasks, but are looking for someone that can take a lead role in redefining our process.

• Improving overall design processes, and working with engineering and product teams to do so
• Reviewing and providing feedback on personas, identify user stories, and release schedules.
• Building wireframes and prototypes of new interfaces using a variety of tools including paper, whiteboard, Sketch, and Proto.io.
• Vetting designs and prototypes through surveys, user experience tests, and a variety of other research techniques.
• Working with the engineers to turn the designs into applications.

What you need to apply:

• Experience with design, wireframing, and rapid prototyping technology. Our current toolset includes the Adobe suite, Sketch, Proto.io, InVision, and Validately.
• The ability to conduct customer interviews, run user experience testing and use other feedback techniques to get insights from users that range from entry-level positions to senior executives at international commercial real estate brokerages.
• Experience with using these techniques to launch new applications or significantly redesign existing applications.
