myStrength-- “The health club for your mind”--  is transforming how behavioral healthcare is provided by developing solutions which bring together the best of human support with digital capabilities in a unique way.  myStrength is developing innovative, evidence-based tools and applications for depression, anxiety, substance abuse and many other behavioral health challenges.  These web and mobile resources are highly personalized and engage the whole person (mind, body, spirit) in a way that is hopeful, upbeat and fun.

We are looking for an experienced Senior UI Designer/Developer.   We are a growing team and are seeking someone who can take on a range of responsibilities related to design and front-end development for web and mobile applications. This is a great opportunity to help provide an amazing toolset for people who suffer from behavioral health challenges!

Responsibilities:

• Own the user interface design including concepts, wireframes, visual design, and interaction design
• Work closely with the product manager to brainstorm ideas, create and meet deadlines and drive tasks to completion
• Design web and mobile comps that will translate well cross-browser and cross-device
• Take your designs and bring them to life by creating necessary assets and transforming them into pixel-perfect, cross-browser HTML/CSS
• Identify reusable design components and own the MyStrength styleguide
• Help support the marketing team by building responsive email templates and some print collateral

Required Qualifications:

• Must have a design portfolio of past work to show – we’d love to see what you’ve worked on!
• Experience designing responsive web experiences and mobile applications
• Passion for UX and visual design and the ability to create elegant and simple user experiences
• Expert writing HTML/CSS using latest development technologies and concepts
• Javascript experience a plus
• Experience with SASS or LESS a plus
• Experience with Wordpress a plus (for marketing site only)
