You will build novel cloud-based mobile applications and touch the full stack across web, mobile and server technologies. We are looking for a driven and results oriented senior software engineer that wants to help contribute in our next phase of product development and customer growth as we enter the enterprise market internationally. Our team takes ideas from planning and development to deployment quickly and you will get to be involved in all phases of development. We are looking for a passionate senior software engineer that has experience in frontend web and backend server technologies. Mobile development experience is a huge plus but we are just as excited about someone with an insatiable appetite to learn mobile as well.

Core Qualifications (we expect you to have most of them!)

• BS or MS in computer science or related field
• 7+ years of experience in the software industry including last 3 years of experience in web and/or mobile software development
• Passionate about web and server technologies, mobile platforms, devices, and apps
• Experience in delivering web content in a highly available released application
• Experience designing, coding, and testing with two or more of the following: Java, ObjectiveC Python, Ruby, JavaScript, .NET
• Understanding of web oriented architecture, RESTful services, and JSON
• Strong understanding of engineering best practices, refactoring, reusability, and unit testing
• Proven track record building and releasing new products all the way from an idea to production
• Ability to work in a fast paced, collaborative and iterative Agile environment where features are complete, tested, and released to users on a biweekly basis
• Strong self direction and ability to manage time effectively to meet commitments, as well as raise issues before they become problems
• Ability to wear many hats, work on an entire product stack from services to UI, and ramp on a wide range of new technologies quickly
• Eager to give and receive honest communication to all levels of stakeholders from peer engineers to the CEO
• Passion for working at a startup and helping us come up with the next great idea

Additional Qualifications (you’ll hit the ground running even faster!)

• Experience with MongoDB and Node.js (MEAN stack) development
• Experience building mobile or web backend infrastructure using Django
• Strong knowledge of database design and tuning using MongoDB, PostgreSQL or similar
• Familiarity with mobile development for iOS or Android
• Familiarity with Amazon Web Services and deploying scalable cloud computing environments and basic hosting operations
• Prior startup experience
