Senior QA Analyst at SurveyGizmo
Boulder

We are looking for a Senior QA Analyst who will work across departments to provide quality assurance and control and risk assessment at SurveyGizmo. 

What You Will Do

  • Collaborate with team of full-stack developers to provide risk assessment, user experience feedback, quality control, and quality assurance.
  • Solve problems everyday
  • Strive for high quality and rapid output through the use of agile software development best practices
  • Execution of testing for new applications, products, and/or enhancements throughout their development life cycles
  • Regression, Smoke, and White box testing
  • Support, maintain, and help document software functionality and qa/dev processes
  • Maintain open communication and transparency , and with other departments, stakeholders, and customers on software development, advanced troubleshooting, improvements, internal tools, and implementation issues
  • Be a part of the overall bug/feature feedback loop (from intake to release)
  • Provide information to help dev determine the initial cause of a defect and help build test cases to prevent future issues
  • Build test strategies, repositories, and help to automate repetitive daily tasks
  • Help with releases for continuous integration and deployments processes to ensure code goes to production smoothly
  • Adhere to the values and bottom lines of the overall organization: Great Service, Great Software, Great Finance, and Be Happy
Who You Are
  • Ability to switch tasks at a moments notice
  • Brain is a steel trap of knowledge
  • Ability to easily triage and determine priority based on set criteria
  • Understanding of basic project management principles
  • Self-motivated and able to work in a small team with minimal supervision
  • 1-2 years of basic Understanding of HTML, CSS, JS
  • 1-2 years of experience with debugging tools (Firebug, etc)
  • 2+ years agile, lean, or similar development methodologies/experience
  • 3+ year experience in Blackbox Testing
  • 3+ years experience executing against functional and regression test plans
  • Goal oriented -- and driven to meet deadlines
  • Creative problem solver and logical thinker
