As the healthcare marketplace evolves, Healthgrades is at the center of helping consumers to find, evaluate, compare and connect with the right healthcare provider and partners with providers to help acquire, grow and retain patients. We are looking for a product manager who is passionate about reputation management and online healthcare.  

As a Sr. Product Manager, you are responsible for evolving the #1 way patients choose a doctor by enhancing the collection and display of user generated reviews on Healthgrades.com. Additionally, you own the strategy for driving Healthgrades parternships with reputation, listing and practice management platforms and transforming the way physicians, practices and hospitals leverage their patient ratings & reviews content.  As the owner of this program, you will represent voice of customer and influence the data mastering, content management and user experience strategy to drive expansion of this critical program.
 
You must be a highly self-motivated individual who can drive cross-functional teams of senior leaders and individual contributors throughout the organization. You will be required to maintain close working relationships with Engineering, Data Management, Client Services, Customer Support, Business Development, Sales & Marketing leaders as well as partner with clients to drive their transparency & reputation management initiatives.

Job Responsibilities
  • Lead and define product strategy and vision, delivering high impact products & services in a fast-paced environment
  • Translate the solution vision into clearly articulated end-to-end use cases and user stories
  • Ability to elicit, document, and communicate business requirements within an Agile Methodology to technical partners whom will build new capabilities.
  • Create comprehensive business, customer, and functional requirements and drive product marketing collateral and presentations
  • Work with customers and Healthgrades resources to identify product and feature priorities to successfully meet the goals of the business
  • Work closely with Engineering teams to ensure the product and platform architecture is aligned with the solution roadmap
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, marketing, engineering, other product and UI design teams to drive solution definition and successfully execute on the roadmap
  • Communicate a deep understanding of the customer, the problem, and the solution with clear line of sight back to the business objectives
  • Evangelize Healthgrades solutions across internal and external stakeholder groups
  • Identify trends and opportunities within the reputation management & local marketing space
  • Prioritize challenges, problems and opportunities based on business rationale to drive product priorities
  • Lead Agile teams through the development process in a Product Owner role including creating and maintaining product backlog, prioritizing features, creating user stories and defining acceptance.
  • Analyze web analytics and perform optimized test to enhance the user experience and achieve business goals.
  • Maintain a balance between consumer, physician and client needs, risks, opportunities and feedback.
 
Desired Skills and Experience
  • 5+ years of relevant product management or marketing experience with focus on software products and technologies
  • B2C – Consumer web product management and user exerpeience design and optimization
  • B2B – Client focused product management experience, taking B2C product and making them extensible as third party integration offereings
  • Experience in consumer focused service-based ratings/reviews and other user generated content experiences
  • Experience in web-based social constructs (understanding of how consumers engage in the sharing of their experience to other consumers).
  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to evolve product strategy based on research, user testing and industry trends
  • Experience with subscription based services, including software, API technology and advertising products
  • Polished communication skills including ability to deliver persuasive presentations to senior executives, partners and customer stakeholders
  • Excellent critical thinking skills to make good decisions in a fast-paced environment
  • A self-starter with bias toward action and know how to balance getting details right while still moving fast
  • Proven ability to work cross functionally in a highly collaborative environment
  • Ability to innovate and define creative solutions with compelling user experiences that exceed customer expectations
  • Experience with web analytics and optimization testing
  • Passion for mobile and consumer technology
 
Preferred Skills
  • 5+ years of  hands-on product experience in SaaS & B2B2C technology, desktop, mobile web and native applications
  • Product Owner experience in an Agile environment
  • Ability to lead ad-hoc design or requirements discussions virtually or in person
  • Excellent communication skills (written and oral)
  • Proven ability to work cross functionally in a highly collaborative environment
