Does it excite you to invent a digital ad campaign to sell Green Eggs and Ham?

Selling Green Eggs and Ham, how might you pursue it? Sam-I-am had the ideas, he knew how to do it – He knew the margins, the COGS, the estimated traffic. He was sure to target the correct demographic. But in the end he failed, and do you know why? Because rhyming and clever copy rarely translate to ROAS goals unless they’re tied to exacting experimentation and data-driven decisions.

 

Do you have that paradoxical blend of analytical thought paired with creative ability to not only craft copy and keyword lists, but able to dissect results into reports and adjust as necessary? Can you be persuasive in communication skills, written and verbal, with experience leading client meetings? Is an immediate burning dream to grow through personal and professional development part of your character? That’s good (you might want to check out that burning part though).

At Amplio, we’re passionate about building measurable results for our clients on both digital advertising platforms and the Amazon Marketplace using data analytics and deep industry expertise, while throwing in a bit of creativity to spice things up.

Senior Paid Media Strategists are expected to be able to create strategic media plans based on client’s brand and marketing direction, then work with a team to execute on those plans. This includes developing target audiences by analyzing brand and customer demographics, translating those insights into Search and Facebook campaigns, and ultimately optimizing them to maximize ROAS or any other client goal. Further, you would be anticipated to monitor conversions, advertisements and bids daily and handle all client related media issues and craft creative solutions to keep our customers happy. Lastly, to go above and beyond, you should collaborate with team members to improve strategy and be well-informed on the latest media buying strategies and trends.
 

This might be the role for you if you have:

·       5+ years of digital advertising experience with online retail either directly, or with an advertising agency, preferably in a client-facing role

 

·       Expertise in Google AdWords, Yahoo! Gemini, Bing Ads, and Facebook Ads (certifications are an additional asset) and familiarity with third-party bid and campaign management tools and ad serving platforms (Doubleclick, Search/Campaign Manager, Marin Software, Kenshoo, Nanigans, Atlas Solutions, etc.)

·       Media Planning and Buying through other programmatic platforms or DSPs (The Trade Desk, DBM)

·       Eperience with Amazon is a major plus.

·       Strong experience using Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office Tools

Even better if you hold any of the following skills/experience (not a requirement though):

·       Experience with additional PPC channels with a Direct Response focus

·       Bachelors/Masters in a data driven field such as Economics, Finance, or Computer Science

·       SQL, JavaScript, or other technical knowledge/expertise

·       1+ year of supervisory experience: including sourcing, training, supervision and/or financial experience

·       Knowledge of web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Omniture, Coremetrics) and suite of Google solutions (Tag Manager, My Business, Search Console, etc.)

·       Experience up-selling to existing clients

·       Familiarity with pixel tracking setup and review
