myStrength, Inc. is searching for a proven Senior Mobile Developer.  We’re looking for someone with the modern mobile experience to help us build a brand spankin’ new multi-platform mobile app from the ground up.  Have you shipped a complex app built on React Native? Have a compelling reason why we should adopt the Xamarin platform? Maybe you can demonstrate how Ionic Native will solve all our problems. If you have real-world experience building and shipping multi-platform mobile apps and can develop full stack features end-to-end then we should talk.

On any given day, you could be doing any or all the following:

• Creating a new and compelling mobile user experiences,
• Building the next device sensor integration in our app for passive data gathering,
• Analyzing and fixing production performance issues,
• Modeling database schema in MySQL & designing the associated object models in Java,
• Building easy-to-use mobile & web-facing RESTful API endpoints,
• Enhancing our development and delivery process through new tools,
• Working with QA to enhance product quality through automation,
• Finding new libraries & prototyping integrations to enhance the user experience

Desired Experience & Skills

• Proven cross-platform mobile development expertise including a common framework such as React Native, Ionic Native or Xamarin
  
• Proven experience in RESTful API design and development
• Strong software development experience with proficiency in an object-oriented language of your choice, preferably Java or C#
• Strong foundation in data structures, design patterns, OOP/OOD and architecture principles
• Demonstrated knowledge of MySQL or another RDBMS including schema design, querying, and more
• Proficiency in automated testing, writing unit tests and working knowledge of continuous integration environments
• Experience with distributed source control and collaboration tools (Git, GitHub, Trello)
• Proven experience with multiple product iterations & releases
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills

Bonus Points

• Proven web front-end development expertise including HTML5, SCSS, JavaScript and common JavaScript frameworks such as Angular or React
• Experience working in a Unix/Linux environment with ability to help configure/manage servers
• Experience with a dynamic programming language such as Python or Ruby
• Experience or knowledge of predictive algorithms using Machine Learning techniques
