Guild is looking for a motivated Senior Manager of Field Outreach to join our team and lead the team driving our engagement efforts across partners. As Guild continues to expand our partnerships, we will have the opportunity to connect with working adults pursuing higher education. Our Outreach Team has worked hard to develop strategies and tactics for building high-impact relationships with client partners across the country and across industries and we’re looking for someone to come in and accelerate our ability to do so at scale. This role will require enthusiasm, persistence and creativity as you coordinate campaigns across companies and channels in partnership with various Guild teams.

Our Senior Manager of Field Outreach will play an important role in the trajectory of Guild and we’re eager to find the right person. If you join Guild’s team as our Senior Manager of Field Outreach, you will:

  • Work with client partners across various functions to engage with the right team or leadership members who have the ability to influence and educate employees about their education benefits
  • Lead the strategic development of our outreach strategies - creating and testing new approaches, outlining implementation roadmaps and budgets, structuring campaign goals and reporting and training the team to effectively achieve desired results
  • Demonstrate expertise and the ability to elevate our lead generation programs from ideation and content development through lead attraction, capture, conversion and scoring
  • Build and cultivate ongoing relationships with dozens of client partners at a time - get to know their priorities and challenges and tailor your tactics to ensure mutual outcomes
  • Research best in class outreach strategies from across different industries and evaluate the best options for Guild to implement
  • Become an expert on our clients’ businesses so that you can effectively structure outreach goals, plans, messaging and training
  • Manage and mentor Outreach team members - setting clear expectations and providing clear and actionable goals and feedback
  • Measure and analyze outcomes in order to determine which campaigns are most effective so that the team can continue to focus on the highest impact activities
  • Create positive ways to involve Guild and client team members in campaign creation and execution 

We’ll prioritize the following experience and attributes as we evaluate candidates throughout the hiring process:

  • Passion for higher education and our mission - Guild is pioneering a new path for education as a benefit in a complicated and regulated space - success means quickly learning the landscape and effectively adapting your expertise
  • Proven track record in coalition building, grassroots or field campaign organizing
  • Prior experience managing a staff and budget
  • Ability to thrive in a startup where there is frequent change, high pressure and a need to demonstrate and act with a sense of urgency
  • Exceptional communication skills regardless of the medium - ability to develop engaging, persuasive and action-inspiring messaging
