Craftsy is seeking an energetic, highly-insightful and motivated senior-level interactive designer to lead our interactive design team. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience, including several years spent managing other designers and working in a fast-paced start-up environment. You should be results-oriented, producing and inspiring your team to produce highly conceptual creative that is brand-, metrics- and consumer-driven. You will be excited to push pixels all day, developing fresh, unique designs to help the company meet our ambitious goals. Additionally you will constantly seek to improve the ideas and processes currently in place by leveraging your proven design expertise to identify how to do things better, faster and/or smarter.
As our Senior Interactive Designer, you will:
- Lead the project allocation and design execution of all interactive creative. Creative projects include but are not limited to promotional email campaigns, display ads, site pages and social media creative
- Develop and implement strategies balancing team efficiency, creative brand storytelling, quality and service
- Innovate on established creative templates to constantly improve the speed and efficiency of workflow for ever-changing and increasing marketing needs
- Seek key data to support informed design decisions
- Lead a team of two interactive designers, communicating company strategies, guiding work product and supporting their growth and development
- Properly outfit team members with the tools needed to be successful in their role
- Delegate tasks as needed
- Both provide and invite constructive criticism as a regular form of evaluation
- Effectively lead creative brainstorms and reviews with both design and non-design team members
- Set an example of continuous learning and skill-building for the team, demonstrating a willingness to do more than is asked to drive results
