Senior Front End Engineer

Duties & Responsibilities:
Contribute to the design and implementation of the design across the company, from our customer facing product to our corporate website
Understand how our customers use our dashboard and mobile app, and you build and refine the design adding new features that improve our customer experience
Internal teams will rely on you to contribute to designing and implementing tools and platforms that make their jobs more efficient
Collaborate with engineers, product owners, and management at the company to make our products shine
Desired Skills and Experience:
6+ years as a Front End developer
Expert knowledge of JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
Strong sense of aesthetics and user experience
Working knowledge of AJAX and Dom Manipulation
Solid understanding of web technologies such as REST, HTTP, JSON and how they work in application design
3-5 years in MVC frameworks such as Rails, Phoenix, Angular
Bonus Skills:
Java and Swift development skills
AngularJS Experience
SASS / Similar CSS abstractions
Experience with API’s and Libraries (maps, graphing, etc)
Experience with AWS
Experience with Docker
Jasmine or Mocha testing
Past work experience in a tech startup
