Commerce Sync is looking for an experienced, forward-thinking DevOps Engineer to manage and operate our existing continuous integration pipeline and application management tools, while also planning and completing project-based work that will evolve our tool portfolio and bring us into the future of DevOps.
What You Will Be Doing
• Maintain and enhance our existing continuous integration pipeline and deployment automation technologies
• Perform infrastructure and platform deployments across all environments
• Perform support and troubleshooting activities, including research and resolution of hardware, operating system, storage, network, performance, and application issues
• Plan and perform project work aimed at increasing the availability and scalability of all components of our infrastructure
• Plan and perform project work aimed at increasing our automation capabilities in the areas of tool selection, infrastructure management, orchestration, and automated environment deployment
• Produce procedural documentation for both daily activities and project related work
What You Need to Be Successful
• 8+ years of diverse application management experience in a dynamic environment, with expertise in both Windows and Linux environments
• 5+ years of experience using, administering, and monitoring both relational database and NoSQL database technologies, such as Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, MongoDB, and Redis
• 3+ years of experience managing and developing for deployment automation tools, such as Puppet, Chef, and Ansible
• 3+ years of experience working with continuous integration tools, such as Bamboo and Jenkins
• Experience managing .NET applications, Windows services, and IIS-based websites
• Experience managing and operating infrastructure using private or public cloud technologies, such as AWS, Google Cloud, XenServer, and VMWare tools
• Experience working in highly available environments, HAProxy specific experience is desired
• Experience working with monitoring and logging tools, such as, Splunk, Nagios, New Relic, and Pingdom
• Experience working with C# and MSBuild is a bonus
