What you'll do:

As a Senior Data Entry Specialist on the Payment Operations team, you’ll be responsible for supporting the daily processing of credit card transactions received by email. You will be accountable for retrieving credit card information contained in emails accessed via web portals, and keying them into Billtrust’s payment platform, while abiding by the appropriate control functions implemented by the Payment Operations team.

  • Retrieving and storing credit card information in a secure manner from emails and web portals
  • Accurately key-entering credit card information into a proprietary portal
  • Producing daily reports of successful payment transactions and sending to customers if required
  • Escalating issues or challenges relative to the process to the Sr. Payment Operations Lead
  • Completing daily balancing activities as well as researching any discrepancies identified
  • Understanding the workflow, deadlines and requirements for each individual customer
  • Training and mentoring newly hired Data Entry Specialists as the team expands
What you'll bring to the team:
  • Experience in a financial operations role a plus
  • Fluency with computer and web based systems
  • Ability to work effectively under minimal supervision
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to think critically
  • High-energy and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to analyze documents and data, and make recommendations
  • Multi-task with a sense of urgency in an environment focused on growth
  • Adaptable to changing customer requirements
