The Position

We are looking for a Senior Accountant to support Evolves financial record-keeping. The right candidate must have an entrepreneurial spirit and be driven by numbers. This person also enjoys working in a fast-paced, growing startup environment. The Senior Accountant must be a self-starter who is able to contribute new ideas and best practices. If you have an analytical approach and can solve all the data-puzzles - we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily, weekly and monthly accounting procedures - including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivables, expense reporting, journal entries etc
• Cash receipts analysis and reconciliation
• Enter, verify and reconcile all transactions for management review
• Periodic forecasting of financial information
• Report and assist in annual budgeting process
• Prepare reporting and analysis for bank covenants and compliance
• Help the management team understand what is going to happen in the future by aggregating and presenting historical data which can be used for future modeling

Experience

• Accounting or finance degree
• Experience in a start-up atmosphere is a plus
• CPA preferred
• 2+ years of accounting experience

Requirements/Skills

• Strong knowledge of US GAAP
• Advanced knowledge of Excel and Quickbooks
• Experience working with CRM systems (Salesforce)
• Extremely detail-oriented
• Customer-service oriented
