 At Recurly the Sr. Account Executive is responsible for sales to targeted companies and manage inbound leads. The Sr. Account Executive expected to achieve sales targets by acquiring new clients as well as identify opportunities for marketing to prospective clients. The Sr. Account Executive is charged with managing the entire lifecycle of a deal, with a consultative approach to selling. 

Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks

  • Build a territory plan to facilitate the attainment of goals and quotas.
  • Identify potential customers and set approach strategies.
  • Maintain a pipeline of qualified prospects sufficient to meet quarterly/annual quota
  • requirements.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle from finding a client to securing a deal.
  • Unearth and close new sales opportunities through territory planning and
  • prospecting and managing inbound leads.
  • Present products to prospective clients.
  • Closes sales by building rapport with potential account; aligning Recurly product
  • and service capabilities with prospects needs; overcoming objections; preparing
  • contracts
  • Negotiate contracts and close agreements.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in a quota carrying sales role.
  • Track record of over-achieving quota in past positions.
  • Proven experience managing and closing complex sales-cycles- demonstrated
  • ownership of all aspects of territory management and selling to multiple constituents
  • in the same cycle ranging from Business, IT Executives and C-Level program owners.
  • Expert level verbal, presentation and written communication skills
  • Expert level competency in computer skills, including SalesForce.com, Microsoft
  • Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Google documents.
  • BA/BS degree preferred.
