 Job Description:

Responsible for supporting the business in strengthening the security program. This position will work across the organization applying Cybersecurity principles and best practices to proactively protect and maintain the confidentiality, integrity and availability of information systems, applications and networks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct management of anti-virus, malware, intrusion detection, Firewalls/WAF’s and content filtering 
  • Complete risk assessments and audits using tools, technologies and methods and remediate as required
  • Evaluate, design and implement secure networks, systems and application architectures 
  • Perform vulnerability testing for weaknesses and remediate findings
  • Analyze event logs for systems and networks and automate security alerts
  • Document, coordinate and perform DR/BCP test plans
  • Respond to security incidents, perform forensics, detail reports and perform tests
  • Manage internal and external identity management (AD, MFA, etc.)
  • Administer security tools such as baseline and attack surface analyzers, health checks, Phishing, etc.
  • Assist with mobile device management for internal device patches, security alerts,
    anti-virus and malware
  • Update information security documentation, policies and procedures

Desired Skills/Experience:

  • 5-7 years of experience in network, system and/or security engineering
  • Technical knowledge of operating systems
  • Knowledge of database security is a plus
  • Experience in Cloud infrastructure and network security
  • Strong problem solving skills and a drive to succeed
  • Desire to advance and push the boundaries of information security
  • Knowledgeable in security frameworks and best practices (ISO 27001, SOC 2, NIST, HIPAA, etc.)
  • Knowledgeable of privacy regulations and best practices a plus (Privacy Shield, GDPR, etc.)
  • CISSP, CISM/CISA, CRISC or other industry InfoSec certification a plus
