ZOLL is looking for an experienced Scrum Master to help create high performing Scrum teams.
The Scrum Master will engage deeply with one or two product development teams to build structure and process, facilitate team interactions, cultivate continuous improvement, and ensure good communication at all levels of the business.
In this role, you will interact with software and QA engineers, product managers and owners, R&D leadership, and others to sustainably deliver mission-critical software to our customers.

High performance demands great teamwork. We need a Scrum Master to help build great teams.
Responsibilities:- Act as Scrum Master for one or two teams
- Facilitate team meetings and Scrum events
- Foster open and honest team communication
- Enable team productivity as a servant/leader
- Own estimation, forecasting and outward coordination and communication on behalf of Scrum teams
- Coach on story slicing and backlog management
- Drive continuous improvement of process and practice
- Help build good practices in our software delivery programs
- Assess the Scrum maturity of the team and facilitate growth
Must haves:
- 5+ years of project, product, or technical leadership in a software development environment
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as a dedicated Scrum Master
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and coaching skills
- Understand the value of delivery commitments made by a development team
- Expert understanding of the Scrum events: Sprint Planning, Daily Scrums, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective
- Experience with the use and configuration of one or more Scrum tracking tools
- Track record of leading successful Scrum projects of varying size and complexity
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business or related fields
Icing on the cake:
- Experience with other Agile frameworks such as Kanban, Lean, XP, cycle time, continuous delivery a plus
- Familiarity service-oriented environments, and better development practices
- Experience FDA-regulated development process
- Experience with hardware products
- CSP (Certified Scrum Professional)
