We’re looking for a passionate developer to help build a world-class, online based, learning management system to support the suite of Galvanize courses. We use the latest industry technologies and best practices to efficiently deliver code at a sustainable pace. This position will be responsible for managing and enhancing Galvanize’s Salesforce implementation. The right candidate should have deep technical experience in all the capabilities and functionalities of the Salesforce platform and a proven track record of driving best practices and processes.

What You'll Do:
    • Write Apex and Visualforce to develop custom solutions within Galvanize’s Salesforce instance as well to integrate with both internal and third party external applications.
    • Execute the day-to-day support, maintenance, and overall improvement of Galvanize’s Salesforce instance.
    • Assist in the administration of the Salesforce environment; in particular, how it affects custom Apex development, including profiles, roles, security settings, sharing rules, custom objects, custom fields, workflow, and validation rules.
    • Participate in all phases of new implementations including planning, design of the application, configuration, development and coding of custom objects, fields and integration points.
    • Works cross-functionally with internal stakeholders (Product, Marketing, Admissions, Membership, Faculty, Career Services, Operations) to ensure that Salesforce supports business requirements.
About You:
    • 3+ years experience as a Salesforce administrator and developer.
    • Experience with technologies integral to Salesforce including: Apex, SOQL, Visualforce Salesforce ANT Migration tool, JavaScript, SOAP, REST.
    • Experience with the use of the Salesforce’s standard APIs and custom REST resources to integrate Salesforce with other tools, software, and databases.
    • Experience with using version control with Salesforce (preferably Git.)
    • Values clean, maintainable, scalable, and testable (and tested!) code.
    • Strong business analysis, testing, documentation and problem solving skills.
    • Experience with gathering, verifying, validating, and documenting requirements.
Bonus:
    • Salesforce Administrator/Development certifications
    • Experience working in an Agile environment.
    • Experience developing in Salesforce Lightning.
