Revenue River Marketing is looking for a Sales System Analyst to help build insanely effective marketing and sales systems across all different kinds of tech stacks. 

While Marketers focus on generating leads at the top of the funnel for our clients, the Sales System Analyst will be focused on using technology to help sales teams convert more qualified leads into opportunities and customers at the bottom of the funnel. Someone in this role would likely enjoy numbers, solving puzzles, and all things automation. We’re looking for an ambitious, outside-the-box-thinking individual to collaborate on creative solutions that help our clients kick ass.  

What You’ll Be Doing in This Role

While you certainly won’t be expected to be a master of all of the skills and tools below, it will be important to your success to have a general understanding and the discipline to learn quickly.

  • Managing technical aspects of key marketing systems (marketing automation, CRM) used to generate, distribute, and report on leads.
  • Analyzing each campaign and helping determine ideal buyer experience within best practice inbound marketing and sales principles.
  • Implementing a marketing and sales system strategy driven towards streamlining data flow and enabling sales with lead intelligence they can use to have more effective conversations with prospects.
  • Optimizing lead hand-off and opportunity nurturing processes through the sales funnel by injecting automation and data capture mechanisms.
  • Establishing closed-loop analytics between marketing and sales to understand how our inbound marketing activity turns leads into customers.

Technical Competencies

We’re not looking for a super computer nerd with a CS degree or fluency in multiple programming languages (though we’re not opposed to those individuals!). Instead, we’re looking for someone with a propensity for learning and a knack for clever problem solving. And a few other things:  

  • Relevant HubSpot certifications & understanding of basic inbound marketing principles.
  • Fundamental understanding of CRM and marketing automation platforms.
  • Basic understanding of API integrations.
  • Salesforce, Pardot, or Zapier knowledge a huge plus.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office products Excel, PowerPoint & Word.

Social Skills Necessary to Work for Revenue River

  • Persistence to explore every possible solution and exhaust every possible resource when researching system integrations.
  • Work really well with your teammates; treat others how you'd like to be treated.
  • Work really hard without someone looking over your shoulder, we don’t micro manage and you should be able to produce results as detailed without needing it.
  • Learn our vendors and be effective with getting deliverables from them on time. 
  • Ability to plan and schedule your time by roles, tasks, and clients.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and makes constructive suggestions for change.
  • Be committed to excellence, be extremely detail oriented, and take great pride in results.
  • Ability to take complex/conflicting situations and translate them into simplified solutions.
  • Ability to adjust to flexible work hours to support clients nationally, we work from the compass not the clock.
