The Position
Outbound Sales Representatives ("Homeowner Consultants") are responsible for new customer acquisition. You will be speaking to homeowners with vacation rentals in your regional territory to understand their current rental strategy, identify areas of need, and sell the value of Evolve's services. Acquiring an abundance of new, qualified homeowners is essential to the growth of Evolve and we need excellent sales professionals to explain this unique management alternative to potential clients. Homeowner Consultants will be assisted by Associates that will help with qualifying leads and prospecting. The right candidate for this position is a highly motivated sales hunter eager to out-perform sales targets and play an integral role in the growth of this game-changing concept in the vacation rental industry.
Responsibilities
- Generate new leads through outbound phone and email prospecting
- Develop creative strategies to target homeowners in your region
- Qualify prospects and sell the value of Evolve's services
- Educate homeowners on the ever-changing vacation rental landscape
- Consult homeowners on how to enter the vacation rental market
- Position Evolve's services based on the specific needs of each homeowner
- Manage sales activities within our customer relationship management software (CRM)
Experience
- 2+ years of quota-bearing sales experience or related customer service experience
- Proven phone-based prospecting and selling success
- Experience in a start-up atmosphere is a plus
- Requirements/Skills
- Competitive overachiever with a winning attitude
- Jaw-dropping verbal and written communication skills
- CRM black-belts will have a leg up (especially those with Salesforce.com experience)
- Proficiency in Office or Google Docs
- Formal sales training a plus
- Highly organized and detail oriented
- Start-up worthy: maniacal work ethic, run-through-brick-walls mentality, thrive in a fluid environment with rapidly changing priorities
