Guild is looking for a Sales Ops Specialist who will directly impact our ability to achieve growth goals while maintaining a focus on our unique mission to empower working adults and frontline employees as they pursue educational opportunities.

As our Sales Ops Specialist, you will:

  • Proactively identifies opportunities for business process improvement. Works closely with business management and individual reps to inspect business process quality and prioritize opportunities for improvement. Assists management in understanding process bottlenecks and inconsistencies. Facilitates an organization of continuous process improvement.
  • Defines configuration of enabling technologies, including Salesforce.com. Works closely with the Salesforce admin and engineering teams to define, stage, test and deploy configuration changes.
  • Monitors the accuracy and distribution of dashboards and reports. Recommends revisions to existing reports, or assists in the development of new reporting tools as needed.
  • Coordinates training delivery to sales, sales management, and sales support personnel in the sales organization supported. Help to prioritize, create, integrate, and publish training materials for the admissions team; implement and manage on-going feedback with the team to drive continuous improvement of the materials and sales performance.
  • Subject matter expert for Salesforce and all sales related tools

We’ll prioritize the following experience and attributes as we evaluate candidates throughout the hiring process:

  • Driven to improve processes and passionate about operational efficiency
  • A detail-oriented, structured thinker, with ability to conceptualize complex systems and processes to spot errors or inefficiencies
  • A self-starter, with the ability to prioritize and balance long-term execution while triaging multiple new requests per day
  • An effective communicator, can adapt to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Ambitious to build on a new function at a rapidly growing company, with desire to grow a team as needs of sales and marketing engines expand
  • 5+ years’ operating in high growth environments
  • 5+ years of working within a Sales Operations capacity
  • Exceptional quantitative and MS Excel skills (sumifs, index/match and vlookup, pivots)
  • Deep experience modeling complex problems, both conceptually and tactically
  • Deep understanding of how sales models & sales processes work
  • Able to run numerous activities & projects simultaneously
  • Salesforce.com mastery: complex dashboards & reports, custom report types, calculated fields, workflows.
  • Experience evaluating tools and technology and/or implementing new processes to maximize team productivity and efficiency
  • Ability to develop strong relationships and communicate effectively while under pressure - balancing confidence, humility and diplomacy internally and externally
